They don't usually keep the same act from leg to leg, do they? So I doubt it. I hope we get a good band like the Europe leg is getting!

Yeah Europe is getting 4 bands I love! I don't think they do keep the bands from the first leg. But you never know. I thought when they announced the first leg soon after they announced who was opening? Thats what I remember at least.

No telling. I remember on the ZooTV tour show I saw, it was still a toss up between BAD II & Public Enemy opening up for them, we still had no idea who it was going to be when we were AT the concert! There were both BAD II tshirts and Public Enemy tshirts for sale at the merchandise stands! :\ We didn't know until they took the stage, it ended up being the Sugarcubes & Public Enemy opening for them. ?? Same thing happened when I saw them on the Elevation 2001 tour.. they weren't sure if we were going to have PJ Harvey or No Doubt. It ended up being PJ Harvey. :( No offense, but I'd of much more prefered No Doubt. Only one we were sure of was the PopMart tour, it was Rage Against The Machine, & that was probably only because the Dallas show, I think it was the 5th date of the tour?, so it was at the beginning of it, they still knew what they were going to do. Anyway, it's my experience with U2 tours that well, it's like a box of chocolates.. you never know what you're going to get.. :P Ahh. I wish they'd take a poll & let the fans choose who it's going to be.

Hhmm that's weird. I didn't know that happened much! I saw them 5 times on Elevation and I always knew long beforehand who was opening. Except in Baltimore Garbage's drummer got sick so they had a last minute replacement cause of that. But so far on this tour they have had definite plans on the openers it seems

I LOVE the kings of leon!!!
I just hope they don't use any of the ones from the european leg because I've seen them already and I want to see an act I've never seen before.

wow, that wasn't suppose to sound as pompous as i think it does. What i MEAN is that I want to experience a different band and although I'd love to see the killers again, i've already seen them twice (i work for a radio station) and the same goes for keane.

I know what you mean. I LOVE all the bands opening in Europe and would love to see them live on their own, much less opening for U2. I gave Kings Of Leon a chance, but they didn't do it for me.

yeah, my sisters didn't really like them either. maybe they are an acquired taste, and if you dont like them the first time, then you won't like them after that.

no matter WHO opens for U2, I'm there for U2 and I'll probably just be like "ok hurry up now. i'm not here for you."

i just hope I get tickets!!!

Kings of Leon kick ass! Their new album is a bit like Rattle and Hum!

And omfg... I hate those yellowbelly bands as Keane and The Killers...

Who else are going to play in the European tour?
