Seated tickets @ 01:04 am

hanluvr:
I'm currently feelin: anxious anxious

I have a question for those who have actually bought seat tickets for the upcoming U2 concerts and not GA. Generally speaking, are there a lot of seats for $49.50? Or are most of them $90 or $160? I need to decide whether I want a friend to get me a seated ticket with her and her husband or take a chance and buy one GA myself to go alone. My friend's husband NEEDS seats, there is no way around that. I could also buy 2 GAs with the intention of finding someone to go with me who can hopefully pay for the ticket... and if not then I guess they would get a treat. What would you do in my shoes?

I've been to concerts before, but never U2 and I really want to do this!

get what you can... your chances with getting one GA or 3 reserved seated tickets are the same. There as many $50 seats as there are $90 and $160 seats. mainly the far off and behind the stage are $50. The $90 are the seats near the stage but up high. And the $160 are the closest seats to the stage without standing up. Hope I helped.

The Portland show didn't have much for fifty dollars that was worth getting.

You did. Thank you.

I think I'll commute with my friends and then stand in GA. =)

I got bad seats in the 400 level of MSG for the "best available" of the 49.50s... I think anything below the 400 level was more money. I cant afford to spend $160 to see U2 when I've seen them a bunch of times before, so I said, whatever, I'm still in the arena, i can still hear and see, and I'm still going to have a blast!
