I had behind the stage seats for one of the concerts on Elevation. They had 4 huge TV screens (one on each member) so you could see everything, actually I could see better than I could when I had GA tickets the night before. Nothing compares to the energy of being on the floor, but really, those seats weren't bad. If you end up with them, I'd say it's better than nothing, and actually pretty good all things considered.

Thanks for the info!

Actually, I'm definetly more of a "Sit-down" concert-goer - after an hour or so of standing, my back erupts in horrible pain. So having an actual seat and watching screens wouldnt be that bad.
GA can be cool, (Ive been GA for Tori AMos about 6 ppl back from the stage and for Cake/FlamingLips right up front, but again the back thing, the pushing, me being short, etc - not the best concert experience.

And I know that if I leave a seat and come back, my spot is waiting for me :)

Yeah, having a seat is a good thing. I liked the energy of the crowd on the floor, and people were pretty cool about not pushing and stuff. I did get a beer spilled on me, but that worked to my advantage as there was a large puddle of beer close to the stage that no one wanted to step in. I was already drenched in beer so I waded into the puddle and got a lot closer than I would have otherwise. ;)

I think I'm glad I have seats this time (all I could get, not being a U2.com member and all). I can be a little more laidback about things and not feel like I have to get there hours early or anything.

It's good to read people's questions, it's helping me remember how cool seeing U2 live is, and getting me really amped up for this tour! Thanks!
