I'm currently feelin: festive!

So how did you all celebrate the annual day of shamrockery? I heard ABOY on the radio on the way to a doctor's appointment, then Vertigo on the way home. Plus, the station that played ABOY had a special feature of U2 songs at 10:00! So I actually went out and sat in my car and listened. They played the Tomb Raider remix of Elevation, a bootleg of Desire from the May 3, 2001 Cleveland show, and All Because of You again.

I confess: I hit my head on the ceiling more than once because I was rocking out so hard. Clearly, I win the dork award. :Þ

Any radio stations near you play U2 for St. Patty's Day?

The college station played Sunday Bloody Sunday and I was all excited that the DJ was playing something decent for a change and then I found out someone had requested it. No marathons, though...

Star 98.7 here in L.A. had a St. Pat's party on the radio and they featured a local U2 tribute band Joshua Tree (who I've seen many times) on there. They did a U2 name-that-song contest where Joshua Tree would play a few notes. The people had to guess the song to win tix to their San Diego show. Then they allowed Joshua Tree to play live over the radio. It was so fun. I was screaming in that car because I was like...I KNOW THEM!! They sound great. Jason the lead singer sounds so much like bono. And of course he looks alot like him when he puts on the right clothes. :D

92.3 KROK played 24 hours of U2. During the Furious Five at 9, they counted down the top 5 U2 songs of all time (missed it though) and at 9:30 they played their Mexico concert.
