Okay, so I'm wondering what I'm in store for.
I bought 2 tickets to see the 2nd Toronto show at the ACC.
Which is the best thing ever. I can't wait.

But, they are in the section 318 row 4, a little to the side of the stage. It's upper bowl.
I'm imagining that it'll be really bad, and am trying to judge just how far that is by watching the Boston elevation VHS.

So, here's the question I pose.
Upper bowl. Yay or nay? Will I be able to see Larry and boys at all from there?
Ahhhh.

EDIT: It's somewhere around here I think. Seat 21 and 22, row 4.

I think you might have to wait and see what the stage layout looks like. Who knows-maybe you'll end up with a great view!

You're right.
I'm actually pretty close to the stage.
It'd be better than sitting at the opposite end of the arena.

And hey-if it turns out that the stage doesn't have a big back rasied up or anything, you might end up with a kick ass view! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Haha. Thank you! :)

U2 doesn't often try to over-compensate with a huge backdrop so I should be fine. Especially in arenas.

Places like slane and red rock make sense to have huge facades, but not in some itsy bitsy arena.

Actually, I could have got seats like that, and I think I'd prefer those. I checked for tickets after I bought mine and came up with the same section, with row 5. But I had already got section 322 at the verrrryyyy top (row 18). But as long as we're actually in the building, I think that's all that matters. :D

That's basically where I'm sitting on opening night... I'll let you know how it looks from there, ok?

You're so lucky ;)

I'm from Malaysia and my Canadian lecturers here keep telling me about how they've got tickets to watch U2 in Toronto. It's so annoying because I can't go!!! Grrrr.

You're close to the stage and your not directly behind. Plus, you're probably high enough up so that even if they did have a big backdrop you'd be able to see over it. I only managed to get into section 307 (for the same night, woot!) and I think I'd prefer your spot. Also, if they end up having some little stage in the middle (which I can't imagine they wouldn't do because Bono wouldn't have enough space to run around otherwise :) you'll have a great view of that.

Also, I've seen them once before, and trust me when I say this: when you get there, you won't care where you are as long as you're in that building :)
