So, the (or a) labour party is going to use Beautiful Day?

I'm dutch, so; Isn't a labour party who lives the social ideas?

i think the labour party is terrible, if i could vote in this election it wouldn't be for them, no matter how many U2 songs they played at me.

You would think so wouldn't you but unfortunately this Labour party no longer has any social ideas in their leadership and I would rather get a hefty kick in the balls than vote for those scumbags again. Almost as bad as Thatcher's Tory party in the 80's!

On this side of the Atlantic, John Kerry entered the podium with the very same song at most of the rallies. It seems to be a universal way to sound "positive" at the rallies:-(

Does anyone recall that no one held an umbrella for Edge at the Clinton Library opening? The empty-hand ex-presidents (and the current one) had people holding theirs, but Edge had to play guitar completely exposed to the rain.

They dump on them, I tell you!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet they don't even pay royalties for playing the songs at gatherings.
(At events that charge admissions, like fundraisers, they're supposed to.)

I think that it's stupid that ANYONE has someone else hold their umbrella for them. The exception being only in a situation where both of your hands are in use, of course. So, like, someone should've just kicked Bush Jr in the balls and stolen his umbrella holder person.
