I'm currently feelin: ecstatic ecstatic
I'm currently hearin: U2-I Will Follow

Hey everyone!

Tomorrow is my very first U2 concert!!!!! Although my seats aren't the greatest, I'm just insanely grateful to go. AND SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! It's in Philly.

Okay, to get to the point, I was just wondering-- even though on Ticketmaster it says that the Wachovia Center doesn't allow cameras, could I get away with hiding one in my purse? It also says that the doors open one hour prior. Is there any chance that they would open earlier? I don't know if you'll have any real answers, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay.. I already said that. :-D!! haha

Personal-level cameras should be fine.

Don't bring anything really huge or professional, but from what I hear, your own digital camera or disposable camera or whatever camera an excited fan has shouldn't cause any trouble.

They would never deny you entry for having a camera in your pants, would they?

I'm always afraid that they'll find a camera on me and tell me to get lost!

oh man, you're lucky. I have seats in the 200s. haha. That was all that was left.

But I'm going to have so much fun just being there I don't even care!!! :D!!! I have a DVD marathon going on right now. Watching the Boston Elevation DVD gets me even more excited!!!

Some people let cameras in and some don't. What I did was hide my digital in the side pocket of my purse and put my dispoable in the main part of my purse. They saw the disposable and sent my dad back to the car with it, while I walked in with the digital *G*

There were several people at the United Center with cameras that I saw, but I didn't even think to ask how they got them in. D'oh. Sorry. :/ And they were pretty on the nose with letting people in only one hour before in Chicago, which was kind of a pain because my cousin and I just had to wander around outside in the ghetto for about an hour. Whoops. ;)

YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE HAVE A FANTASTIC TIME! XD I wish I was going tomorrow, too. Let us know how it was! :)

I walked in with my digicam in plain sight on multiple nights in LA.

Rock On...I hope you have a wonderful time

I brought a decent sized purse/bag and stuck a little mini umbrella in it... with my digital camera wrapped up in it! Then I just stuck it at the bottom of my bag, and nobody saw a thing when they checked it. I was pretty proud of myself for that hiding spot! :-)

I just got back from Chicago (saw em the 10th and 12th) and I put my camera in the zippy side thing in my purse, and they guy glanced in the main part of my purse and said "kay you're good" and let me go. They dont look too thouroughly, but I might hide it as you go in, just in case. Wouldn't hurt! My friend put hers in her bra..another good place :) lol

You lucky dog! Congratulations. You have a reason to be so excited you're pissin' your pants right now. My first U2 concert, I was so excited it was beyond explaning. And I was not disappointed. I am looking forward to #4 in October with the same anticipation that I had 13 years ago. Scream loud for us all tonight. :) & don't forget to come back & report!!
