What time are you showing up for Saturday's show? I have GA tickets and still debating when would be a good time to arrive...maybe around 5ish...

I saw people standing in line already at around lunchtime. Are your chances of getting into the egg that much greater getting there that early? I don't think so...

In Boston getting there earlier would be a better chance for Dave to be in the egg or on the rail on the outside. Saturday? G'zzz if I were there personally I would go at 4 or 5 AM.

Agreed. We're showing up at Hartford at around 8 just because it's a several hour drive (we'd be there sooner if we could).

In this cold weather, no real need to be that early...

More like - I cannot see the band! Stop spilling your beer on me!

I guess you just want to be nice to everyone else attending the concert and make sure they all have a better view than you! *wink wink*

I hope you end up in the egg though!

I don't expect to be in the egg but I'll try... At least I'll be on the floor.

We were in the line at Philly at 5:30AM, and were 25th and 26th in line. Didn't regret it for a minute. The earlier, the better.

First person in our line was there 7PM the night before.

Why you want to be there early

If you get get in the Bomb Shelter, and you are in the back of the GA line, that puts you at the back of the floor. If you are in the front of the line, and don't get in the Bomb Shelter, you will still get a spot on the rail.

Ok I did Boston GA on Thursday night, it was alot different from what I've heard about waiting in U2 lines from all you guys.

Mike wanted to get there real early to stand in line all day in hopes of getting in the GA line, originally he wanted to get there at 9, I laughed and we got there at 12 instead. But instead of waiting in line with all the fans, they gave us a wristband and told us to come back at 5. Our numbers were 593 and 594, so we assumed this meant we wouldn't make it into the elipse. BUT they decided to pick people for the elipse AT RANDOM. After coming back at 5, they put us inside the fleet center on those steps, and at like 6:30, they started letting us in, but what they did was they scanned our tickets into a computer and if the U2 logo showed up you got to go in the elipse and they gave you the extra black wristband. Lots of screaming ensued, but we did not get in :/ bummer.
So, really it didn't matter what time you showed up, everyone with a GA ticket had equal chance to get into the ellipse.
HOWEVER since we werent' in the elipse, everything else behind the elipse was first come first served/closest to the front.
