Bono looks so good with that short hair and scruffy beard.

I wish he would have stayed put with that look.
Very nice job on the wallpaper!

Rock star saviour to Africa

Rock stars bringing the message need to be more consistent about their message and position on their pet projects.

One, who gets enough publicity already and needs no further from me, is a devout Catholic who seems to glaze over the concept that his church preaches against the use of condoms. Using condoms could slow the flood of crippling infections [HIV] in already striving countries.

If you mean Bono, he's not Catholic. I don't think he subscribes to any specific Christian denomination, nor do The Edge and Larry I believe. I believe Bono's father was Catholic, his mother Protestant (re: Anglican/Church of Ireland) or vice versa, but he rejected organized religion as a teenager.

Well, for someone who's rejected organized religion, he sure references Catholism a lot.

That's true, but I know I do as well even though I've also rejected Catholicism, because I was raised Catholic. I think Catholicism, no matter how early in life you reject it, has this way of staying with you in a sociological sense. The religion in which you were raised or to which your family subscribes does have a way of of affecting your outlook in life (for good or for bad). I think that can be seen in Bono.

Lovely! The picture of Bono with the baby is adorable. :)

Does anyone else think he looks like Kenneth Branagh as Iago in Othello with the short hair and scruffy beard? Or it this just my Shakespearean/Branagh obsession taking hold?

Wow. You're right.

I think that's the reason I like him so much like that.

=D That's amazing! I love it!

I am absolutely in love with the pictures of him with the children... =) Especially the shot with the little girl riding atop his shoulders. Something about the bright blue sky and her gorgeous little smile just strike my heart chords... =) I can almost hear "WTSHNN" playing in the background...

Thank you!
