Yay, I love filling these things out!

1. This one's hard. Beautiful Day is the first song I remember hearing on the radio in its entirety. But before that, I had heard snippets of Stuck In A Moment. But the first time I heard all of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, I had recognized it from childhood. :/

2. It was probably a few songs. It takes a lot to convince me, hahaha. I bought ATYCLB and at the time could only get really into the first few songs. But then somebody made a mix for me to get a taste of their older stuff, and Pride and With or Without You (2 of the first 3 tracks) sucked me right in.

3. In Pride, it was just the way the music and lyrics fit together. So perfect. And With or Without You... isn't there enough said??? Most of all, his cry at the end.... GAHHHH, I love it.

4. I've only been a fan for a little over 2 years, but I managed to accumulate all their albums in a random order. There are albums I almost never listen to. But they have such a varied sound that no matter what type of music I'm feeling at the moment, if I want to hear U2, I can find something I'll like.

5. Bono. I didn't mean to love him. He's just so... powerful. The first minute I first saw him on stage on the Vertigo tour, it was like God had just appeared in the room. And the way he talks so passionately, his vocabulary... half the times I don't even understand the words he's using, hahaha. But he still makes me want to listen and understand.

6. Long Island, and I've given up on the radio here. When I do listen to it, I very rarely hear U2, unless there's a rock block then they'll occasionally get their 3 songs in a row. I need to invest in a subscription to XM Radio or Sirius. :/

Thank you!

All of the variety is one of the things that makes U2 as good as they are... I do not think enough people are open-minded enough to fully appreciate U2 in this country! Can you please, share information about the live Vertigo show that you went to (as my show is later this year) and what it was like compared to others if you have been to others? I have added you as a friend.
