Bono and Andrea? @ 10:06 pm

kissmegoodbye:
I'm currently feelin: amused amused
I'm currently hearin: Idina Menzel - all of the above

I posted this at interference earlier today, yet nobody seems that interested/knows any more details.

Translation:

Q: Music is very important for you. What's you favourite song at the moment?

Bond recorded a title track for «Don’t Come Knocking» lately, together with Andrea from The Corrs. He wanted to do this for months but was very busy with the U2 world tour and the Live-8 activities. That's why it's too late for the copy shown at the festival in Locarno. But when the movie is in the cinemas, the great song will get played during the end credits. I can't get enough listening to this song.

I love how the German-->English translation translated Bono to Bond. Funnily enough, After the premiere of Andrea Corrs recent movie (The Bridge), some reviewer said she could be the next "Bond Girl".

Anyone got any more information on this song? Anyone heard it?

Mmmmm...Andrea.

I so want to see the Corrs live. Probably won't ever happen...i didn't really get into them until last year, and I found out they'd just finished their US tour a couple weeks earlier. Not sure if it was successful enough for them to come back.

Oh they're fantastic live. And I'm not just saying that cos I'm a huge fan, but they're amazing. :) I've taken 3 people who weren't real fans to concerts and they have said it was brilliant.

The band are making a new album at the moment, it's all traditional Irish songs etc... They plan to tour, but I'm not sure how it'll work out...

You should definately see them if you have the chance, you will not be disapointed. :)

*sigh* I know...I have the live in london DVD. (I want the Landsown Road one, but it's about $40 as an import...god i hate living in this country)

Yeah I don't know how I feel about a whole album of traditional songs, but hopefully they'll at least tour behind it.

Too bad they're all married. :(

Lansdowne Road is fantastic, great mix of songs and great atmosphere. You should get it. ;)

I'm not too sure about the new album either, I'd prefer brand new stuff... but this apparently is something they've always wanted to do and it's their mothers favourite songs (she died about 5/6 years ago). From what I've heard, it's very good. They did a concert that was broadcast on the web, they performed 4 new songs, all good. :)

Andrea and Jim aren't married. ;) they have partners though...

Yeah...close enough. Although I did meet Bono, who danced with Andrea...so there's that whole six degrees thing...lol.

Someday I'll get the Landsowne Road DVD, I just don't have that kind of money to spend on it. That and the Unplugged show were never released here...bastards. :(

Wow you met Bono. *dies* I'm the opposite, I've met Andrea a couple times... ;) (and Caroline and Sharon once).

Unplugged is good too. :)

See, I'm not sure I could meet Andrea (or Beth Orton, for that matter) without somehow accidentally propositioning her...nothing bad, maybe just a kiss and some cuddling...lol. I would totally turn into a bumbling idiot around her, I'm sure.
