All this talk of GA tickets reminds me...

Someone said that you should get there even earlier for the third leg. How early do you recommend getting in line? (I'll be at the first Detroit show.)

Depends how close you want to be.

In Milwaukee it was raining and cold all day, and there were still 100 people in the line by about 8 AM. But that was also a Sunday, so you may get a little help from the fact that Detroit is during the week. At the Palace you can park right next to the GA line, so I say just get a really nice cosy sleeping bag and get there either overnight or at dawn. It sounds like a really long time to wait but at the Elevation GA line in Detroit I met a lot of really cool people and everyone was very friendly, so I think you'll be fine.

Yeah, in Seattle, I showed up for the Sunday show at 1:00 and was about 180 in line or something. The next day's show, I heard that at noon there were only like 40-50 people in line or so.

Thanks for the advice. Meeting other U2 fans is one of the main reasons I'm thinking about camping out!

Awesome - I really wanted to go both nights, but I'll be going to a show in NYC instead.

Now I'm really jealous. I've never even been to NYC.

A lot of people camp overnight. For LA1 Elevation, I arrived at 8 pm the night before and was #12 in line. For Vegas Elevation, I arrived at almost the same time, and there were over 100 people in line. At Anaheim2 Vertigo and San Jose2 Elevation, there were people in line before the first shows let out.

This prolly sounds scary. And it kind of is, but it's totally worth it too.

For Vertigo, camping overnight probably isn't necessary unless you are dead-set on being on the rail at the tip of the ellipse if you don't get scanned. It's all a matter of personal preference. :)

Have fun at the show! :)

Thank you! *laugh* And thanks for the advice. I think I'll be camping out - just once, I'd like to be right up at the stage!
