Wanted: Pair of tickets for either Oakland show @ 05:06 pm

dvadsat:
Hi all,

I just joined this community (I admit I am not much of a LJ user...:) ) because I am looking for 2 tickets to either Oakland show.

I am trying to help my friend, who lives in Germany, get tickets to this show. She is a huge U2 fan and will be in the Oakland area in early November. As I'm sure everyone can understand, it would mean the world to her to get to see U2 on one of those nights. :)

If anyone has tickets to these shows that they are interested in selling at face value, please reply to this thread or send me an email at tvojanepervaja (at) hotmail (dot) com.

Thanks everyone!

It's been said in other threads, but if she's going to be in the area at that time anyways, just tell her to go to the box office early in the morning and camp out. Obviously there's no guarantees, but it's highly, highly likely that there will be GA tickets available by late afternoon. There will also be seats that suddenly appear during the day as well, you would most likely to be able to get a single ticket very close to the stage, and there's a decent chance you could get really good seats as a pair, if you were willing to pay the face value on the seats.

Just saying, if you're willing to spend the day outside of the box office, you're guaranteed to at least be able to get into the show, and if you're one of the first 10-20 people in the box office line, you can probably get GA's.

It's not a newbie mistake, I wouldn't know about it if it wasn't for other fans sharing their experiences with buying day of show tickets. We drove up to Milwaukee without tickets and got GA's before the doors opened, no problem.

Again, there's no guarantees, but it's definitely worth the effort since your odds are really, really good. (especially if you're willing to accept seats)
