Rear of stage seating? @ 12:51 pm

crazyjaney:
Has anyone sat behind the stage for these shows? Are they even selling those tickets? I was offered a seat in Section 214 and another in 411 for tomorrow night @ MSG, but I want to make sure that these are actual seats...any help is appreciated, thanks! :)

yup, i had rear stage for san jose. i actually enjoyed it. your much closer to the band then people that sit in the front waaaaay back in the center. and they acknowledge you alot. they realize your there. bono will turn and play to the back, and everytime larry gets up thats the first thing he does is turn to the back. i'd grab them.

yes I did it at opening night, I was in the nosebleeds behind the stage. You have an ok view but do not feel at one with the people on the floor or closer to the stage. It dfeinitely impacted my enjoyment of the show. But then again, I was in the heart for like 5 out of 7 elevation shows so that may have been why. If you just want to be in the house, do it! But they are indeed, the worst seats. But you can see and hear ok usually...

The lower level(s) behind the stage are AMAZING; it's just up in the balcony that it kind of sucks. =/

I had balcony seats on Adam's side of the stage and the view was pretty good though sometimes it's harder to see when the light curtains are down. They weren't as good as the loge seats I had for Elevation and you don't get quite the same effect from light show as if you were in the front, but at the time I didn't quite care (gee, I wonder why?). It was great to just be in the building.
