Hahaha ABSOLUTELY NOT.

It's fucked up that he would have anything to do with them, anyway. I mean...considering what a dumbass he is.

Mmm...I think they should be more pissed off that they are associated with a certain party, rather than just "OMG, GET OUT OF HEERE THIS IS FOR U2 FANS EYES ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I mean, if Hilary wants to make a profit on this, then it's on her plate, but no one should be saying, U2 helps with the DNC.
It would be if I had like 14 tickets and said I wanted to give them out to lepers ONLY. That doesn't mean U2 supports lepers, rather that I do.
Which I don't. Maybe I do. So sad. Lepers.

This reminds me of Jesus kicking the moneylenders from the temple, for good reason.

I'm more appalled by the grammatical errors in the first two paragraphs: "the band have" and "the band were."

Really, only in North America would that sentence be considered grammatically incorrect. In most other places in the world, particularly the UK and other countries within the Commonwealth, it's perfectly acceptable to say things like "the band have" and "the band were."

In the US/Canada, most people say "U2 is a band." Others of us, on the other hand, say "U2 are a band." It's just one of those things, like spelling it "center" instead of "centre."

This is an incredible low for the politicians of America. I'm not a bit surprised by it though. This is a band who has constantly been on the forefront of issues but they've politely and very delicately tried to stay away from endorsing any kind of party or leader.
It's like Hillary is pimping out the band to some really wealthy Johns. I can understand why the guys would feel used and defiled.

Agreed - it's an outrageous thing to do, and I'm not surprised the band are keen to distance themselves from it all!
