Hello Hello!!

I'm currently feelin: cold cold
I'm currently hearin: m*a*s*h on tv

Along the lines of the book question posted a few entries down, I want to ask about the book that I *think* is called "All That You Can't Leave Behind" and the second little title says something about how the book studies the spiritual aspects of some of U2's more famous songs. I thought about buying the book, but it only covered about seven or eight songs and it didn't appear to be very authoritative, kind of like the author was just cahsing in. Anyway, I just wanted to find out if anyone has it or has read it, or even just seen it somewhere, and there opinion is on it. Thanks:)

Hrm. I haven't heard of that one, but there is a recent one called "Walk On: the Spiritual Journey of U2." Could that be it? I own that one but haven't really started to read it in depth yet. It's kind of a small book, with large type that is widely spaced. =D

Yes it's called "Walk On-The spiritual journey of U2" I haven't finished reading it yet either! It's not really a biography. It talks about (of course) the spiritual aspect of their songs!! It's very interesting.

i've read walk on, and found it very interesting and informative. it actually does discuss a deceant amount of the songs, has some interesting infos and quotes. would personally recommend it, one little beef i have though is while it says its about the band's spirituality, i'd say about 99% of the quotes are from bono and it is definately more heavily weighted towards him.

That kind of sucks. I guess they do that b/c he writes a majority of the lyrics, but the others should still have their side represented, I think. Thanks for the info:)
