I'm currently feelin: curious curious

Ok. I have gone from complete euphoria over seeing U2 into some sort of state of shock, where I am actually completely calm...it is in nine days. I have the occasional butterflies, but overall the whole thing is surreal..

Did anyone else have this experience? Of course this is my first concert in general, so maybe that is it..

I hope it isn't so surreal that the whole experience is a blur! LOL

Don't worry - you'll have an amazing experience. :o) Last night it didn't really sink in until we were walking around the venue and I saw a guy wearing an Achtung Baby shirt (the first of a zillion) - then it hit me. *does happy dance for you*. By the way, we should be friends - your tastes rule!

Oh I had the exact same feelings. I was on cloud 9,then about a week before the concert i was in such shock and unbelief that I was shaking. It sounds very over dramatic, but it's not everyday you get to cross something off your "Things to do Before I die" list.

Exactly...I am glad I am not the only one...it's like right now I am numb from disbelief, then I look at my Elevation poster on the wall and go sqeeeee...

This is gonna be the most fun I have ever had..I can already tell...

For a while it felt like I was watching it on DVD or someplace, but I kept reminding myself that I was actually there and the band was in the building with me! It was surreal for me, too. That's why I had to see them twice in two nights.

I have not given up hope on better tickets though.

Ditto. I'm incredibly glad I saw both Twickenham shows back-to-back, because the first one just felt completely unreal by the end. It sank in a lot more the second night!!
