I'm currently hearin: U2- Always

Hey guys- wasn't sure if anyone was really interested, but I wrote a review of the 20 October DC show for my school paper here in case anyone felt like reading it. If you do I'd love to hear any thoughts, criticisms, etc. :)

Sorry that it's kind of long, heh. Still, I don't think I could ever really put into words just how amazing that show was for me. Even though I was all the way in the 400 section.

And no one realized that I was dressed as Edge, except for this random guy from the ONE campaign who did a double take, and then did one of those "Yeaaah, I gotcha now" looks. This was even when I waited in the GA line with my friends for a few hours! Oh well. ^_^ Was anyone else there?

Ha-HA! Oops! Thank you so much for pointing that out about the spelling- I can get into the site so I'll fix that right now. I'm glad that you liked it. And as for Miss Sarajevo, I'd completely forgotten about that- I was referring to its inclusion on Passengers, which I'd heard described as the soundtrack for a movie that wasn't made, forgetting that that particular song actually was for a real film. My bad. :) Thank you so much for reading it and letting me know about those things, I really appreciate it, esp. considering I'm not sure if any U2 fans would otherwise actually see it (we aren't the most popular of our school's publications), heh. :P

Several of the songs on Passengers are from real films... Beyond The Clouds (featuring Your Blue Room and Beach Sequence) is real, and so is Ghost In The Shell (featuring One Minute Warning).

Not too bad at all! How long have you been writing?

I could almost feel myself being there in a distant, mystic sort of way (if that makes any sense)...

Wow, thank you! That's very kind of you- haha, and no, what you're saying makes sense, I know what you mean...I'm glad it sort of let you feel what the performance was like, that's what I was hoping for. :) Uh, as for writing...probably about three years or so? Some of theatre reviewing my senior year of HS and then this is my second year here for this paper. I try to write about U2 wheneever even vaguely possible. But yeah, thanks for reading it! :D

No problems, I LOVE U2! It is also fun to read about other people's experiences, especially if there's a common connection (like with another U2 fan)...

P.S. I added you as a friend.
