Among my dreams last night, I had a short U2-related one. I dreamt I was watching some interview with Bono (I'm 98% sure it was with Cat Deeley), and she was asking him about the progression from ATYCLB to HTDAAB, and stuff about the new songs. Bono began telling her about how he came to write Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (describing how he found himself wondering if his father was "out there somewhere..."), and to my amazement he started openly crying as he spoke about it, to the point where he was choking on his words. It was so moving! I "remembered" that he also cries on the Sydney video(?!), and started to form an observation that he always cries at some point on each official concert release, LOL... then I woke up. It was just a very striking dream, so I thought I'd share it.
