U2 at school for St. Patrick's Day!

I have to tell about how much my St. Patrick's Day rocked at school. The student activities coordinator gave each teacher some Mardi Gras bead necklaces that had big shamrock beads on's the nicest St. Patrick's Day token I've ever received or worn. The teacher also borrowed a Fenians CD from me to play at lunch, and I offered to throw in my U2 as well.

So...the lunchtime setlist on the quad went something like this:

Even Better Than the Real Thing
With or Without You
Electric Co.
Party Girl
Sunday Bloody Sunday (from Red Rocks)
Mysterious Ways (live, Elevation San Diego)
Miss Sarajevo

The kids really enjoyed it. It was cute! The best part was when the teacher spinning got the kids to yell the "heys!" in "Party Girl." Had I thought more about it ahead of time, I would have thrown in some of Larry singing trad. ;)

The tough part was that hearing U2 pumped up so loud in a large space made me miss the shows. *sigh*

Bruce Springsteen w/ Bono

Hey folks! I recently made 15 copies of the Bruce Springsteen Miami show wherein Bono sings "Because The Night" with Bruce. I sent them all over the world.

BUT - It looks like I have one extra copy.

It is up for grabs, FREE to a good home. No obligation, no cost to you.

Here's the deal:

1. Send me a private email to:

2. WRITE "GIVE IT AWAY" SOMEWHERE IN THE SUBJECT LINE, so it can get sorted properly.

3. In the body of your email provide the answer to this question: What is the name of the greatest band of all time?

Entries with the correct answer will be put in the hat. I'll draw a name on Friday.
