Band Aid 20

Oooooo, did anyone else in the UK see the Band Aid 20 documentary this evening?  They showed Bono singing the entire verse that leads up to his big line - wasn't expecting that little treat!  There was also some footage of his first attempt which was recorded at Hanover Quay... Edge was in that clip as well. :D  (Plus there was tons of Bono interviewage throughout the programme.)  Dunno if it will be repeated but it's definitely something to watch out for if you missed it tonight!

I was surfing around today and found this line in Bono's bio:

"Fortunately, after the tour, he was admitted to the hospital to have the problem corrected and has since quit smoking, after doctors told him it would permanently damage his singing."

Is this true? Has Bono really quit smoking? I hadn't noticed! If he did, good for him!

U2 newbie

Hi everybody there!!
I don't know if people use to write an introducing post or something like that, but that way you can know a little bit about me.
My name's Laura and I'm from Spain. I'm 19 (my bday is on September 15th if anybody ever wants to send an e-card to me).
I've never been in a U2 concert :'(.
I prefer the 80's before the 90's.
My favourite albums are Boy, War and Joshua. Rattle is above every single album from the 90's. Except maybe Achtung. Zooropa sucks.
My fav song is Sunday, Bloody Sunday. I think it's the best song ever. I can't stand Lemon nor Numb. Grace bores me. From the 90's I'd pick up Acrobat and Hold Me.
I like U2 since I was 16 (about 2001). The first song I heard to was Still. The first album I listened to was The Best Of the 80's.
I don't like acronyms. It's not the same listening to ISHFWILF than listening to Still. There's no comparison!
The electric Guitar is the best instrument in the world. The Edge is God. Joshua is my religion.

Oi! Who's got the video?

This thread (in a forum which I'm not a member of) talks about how Bono pulled a girl onstage and they did stuff, and there was a VIDEO. There are several different yousendit links but they've expired by now of course...

I am looking for it, and if anyone has it PLEASE upload it or something; I would fall at your feet and owe you my very life breath. Verily.
