*sigh* Desperate times...

Hey everyone-

Well, I had tickets for the first Seattle show, but I got screwed over, and now have none. Does anyone have tickets to either Vancouver or Seattle show they want to sell? One ticket, two, three, whatever, I'll buy them.

Please, I'm absolutely heartbroken about this-I got screwed for the Elevation tour and didn't get to go to that show either.

PLEASE. You would just...make my life. Thanks so much.

Some more help, please?

Ok, so I've been given conflicting answers about this-if I were to buy a membership for u2.com right now, would I be given a pre sale code for this 3rd leg of the tour? Some people have said yes, some know and I'd really like to figure it out.

Thanks!
Leelee

where the streets versus still haven't found...

so I'm sitting here reading U2 album reviews online (on artistdirect.com) and checked out the review for The Joshua Tree...

and i got to thinking - "Where the Streets Have No Name" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" seem (at least to me) to be the two most famous, universally loved U2 songs. by hardcore fans and general pop music fans alike. but if you had to pick one that you liked more, which one would it be and why? the vocals on both - beautiful. instrumentation - amazing. mood - meandering, lost, earnest. does anybody have any reasons why they like one more than the other?

ETA: info on the sale of tickets:
Presales for U2.Com Subscribers for the Fall leg of Vertigo//2005 Tour are underway this week.

General onsale for the thirty three Fall dates on the tour, begins at the end of this week and all the information on cities and dates can be found here

All U2.Com Subscribers in North America who did not buy tickets with their unique code in earlier presales, have been mailed with information on how to take part in presales for the Fall leg of the tour. Those Subscribers should use the link on the left of this page when the presale is open for the show they would like to attend.

As explained in Larry's February letter, this time around we have set up a new system to manage the presale. Priority goes to former subscribers of the band's longtime magazine 'Propaganda' and to U2.Com Subscribers who have not yet been able to purchase tickets for 'Vertigo/2005'.

ETA: Also found this: Tickets for all additional performances will go on sale in the next few weeks. General admission floor tickets remain $49.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are limited to 2 per person. Additional reserved seat tickets prices vary according to market. There is an 8 ticket limit per person with a maximum purchase of 2 general admission floor tickets.

So that's all I can add about when the tickets go onsale for the general public--in the next few weeks. Check out U2.com for further information in the days to come.

iTunes/The Complete U2

I have a couple questions about iTunes and The Complete U2...I'm kind of new to all this.

I'm going to be purchasing the box set with the prepaid iTunes cards since I don't want to use my debit card over the internet (and my dad won't let me). Basically, I want to know if anyone has encountered any problems downloading it and about how long it takes to download (I have DSL...I'm not to sure how fast it is, I am clueless when it comes to such things).

Thank you!! <3

Presale and dates

Hi guys! Yay for Milwaukee, is what I have to say. Whee! :)

I also have a teeeeensy question - has anyone been able to figure out which presale dates go with which tour dates? I'm dying over here because tomorrow I'll have to ask for any hours I want off on Tuesday if that's when the presale I need starts. I can't seem to find it anywhere on U2.com. Thanks for any help! :)
