I've been listening to "Hallelujah Here She Comes" recently. That song has really grown on me. Desire was the first single I bought on vinyl, and I listened to it once, then put it away, but I've pulled it out again recently. Its such a good song. Its also on Best of 1980-1990 and B-sides, for those of you who don't have the Desire single.
Sorry about the multiple posts today, but yesterday, I bought "U2: The Ultimate Encyclopedia". Its a really good book. It has loads of stuff in alphabetical order, from mentioning tons and tons of releases and gigs to their appearance in The Simpsons. UK people, it was only £5.99 in HMV. Probably because it was updated last year, and so is out of date with the latest album. At the back, it has lists of loads of things chronologically, like TV appearances, gigs, singles and collectables. A great buy.
I want to give credit to the person that made this icon I'm using, so please let me know who you are. I will be sure to give you credit in the keywords. Thanks!
So I have a pair of GA tickets for the Toronto show on the 12th of September. Just for clarification, the tickets are all scanned for 'bomb shelter' entry individually, right? And if you have a 'winner', you get to take one person with you, correct? Or am I making things up?
Also, if my chance both my ticket and my friend's scan as entry, can we give one to someone who's pair didn't get in?
Am I making any sense? I doubt it. Thanks for your help!
Today's selection is
"Love is Blindness" from Achtung Baby (1991)
Thoughts: N/A. I have not heard this song.
