I borrowed my brother's car yesterday and was listening to his Sirius satellite radio. I was browsing the country stations and nearly died laughing when I saw "U2: Yahweh" come up on the channel. I thought maybe the category had froze or something but nope...everything worked fine.
So yah...U2 is now considered country on satellite radio, lol. :-O
U2 have got five hit singles on the Canadian charts at the moment. Four are to be expected (Vertigo, SYCMIOYO, All Because of You & City of Blinding Lights), but there's one unexecpted single as well (If God Will Send His Angels*). :D
*HMV is currently selling overstock of the single in all of their Ottawa locations (I can only imagine the same is occuring in other Canadian cities).
And yes, there was no real point to this post. ;)
The November 3rd issue of Rolling Stone is awesome. I haven't read the whole interview yet, but there is a section where Bono critiques each U2 album. He also talks about his favorite songs, and names one the "Greatest U2 Song". I am not sure if I am surprised by the answer. It's in my top 5, but I don't think its what most fans would say if they were asked "What do you think is Bono's favorite U2 song?"
Anyway, I'm not going to say which it is (aren't I evil?!), because that will ruin the surprise. But I'd like to see what some of you guess Bono says is "The Greatest U2 Song."
This one's for all those here who have met the guys outside a venue when they arrive for soundcheck:
About what time did they drive up?
Thanks in advance!
