Kurt Loder's iTunes Playlist

Longtime MTV newsman and former Rolling Stone editor Kurt Loder seems to be a genuine aficionado of the U2 sound, if one trusts his selected iTunes playlist.
Track ten is “Your Blue Room” from ‘The Passengers Soundtrack: Volume I.’

Writes Kurt, “U2 fans weren’t buying when the band brought producer Brian Eno out from behind the board and into the lineup in 1995 for a one-off album under a one-off name. But this track is gorgeous-like floating through a cloud field of ambient dysphoria. Unfortunately, it may make you actually think things like that. Try not to say them aloud.”

That’s a- curt description of that track. I think he likes it!

Time100

Well, (big surprise) Bono has been nominated to Time's 100 Most Influential People by Peter Singer. You can vote at http://www.time.com/time100 I decline to do so. I doubt he'll need my vote to make it. Anybody remember the absolutely handsome pic of him they used last year? He should wear a (matching) suit more often, and the baby blues were clearly visible. If you don't remember, ask- I'll post it.
