Song Lyric Over-Analyzation

So I do this occasionally in my own lj, and I thought it might be fun to do it with the whole U2 community. Here's the idea: I'll post a U2 song, and then I'll over-analyze it. Simple, right? It's kind of like English class, where you have to pick apart a poem, only this is more fun because it's a U2 song instead.

Everyone is welcome to add their own over-analyzations; in fact, it is encouraged. You can go as crazy or as realistic as you'd like. (Ex: Bono's singing about ham sandwiches, his love for the guitar, or some kind of spiritual crisis are all perfectly valid arguments to make.) Really, I'm just trying to get us to all start talking about the songs in depth again.

So...let me kick this off...

Is something going on?

The other night, while I was on my way home from work the strangest thing happened.

I tend to station surf while I'm driving, so I caught the tail end of "Where The Streets Have No Name." I changed the station and heard "I Will Follow" and then changed the station again and found the last 3/4 of "Beautiful Day."

And, a couple of days before that I heard Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses on the radio. That's the first time I've ever heard that one on the radio.

Have they announced that when the new album is coming out and I missed it? Or is it building hype? Or...is it all a weird coincidence?

Has anyone else noticed anything like this in your area?
