Question of the Month @ 01:26 pm

lumencuro:
I'm currently feelin: optimistic optimistic

My friend has been trying to send a letter, call, or email the people of U2 (actually their manager would probably work best to contact in his case), but says that all the addresses that he can find have nothing to do with them and don't work. Do any of you have contact information that is more reliable and would work to get a serious look at his request and some sort of response as quickly as possible? The address that I gave him in Ireland came back as undeliverable. I know that someone out there has to know this vital information... Can you please share it with the rest of us that may need itor if you don't want to send it to the world then please email it directly to me? Thank you in advance for your help!

mmm be able to contact a band directly ... no chance!!!!

The best bet would be to get a contact address for the management company

But they will no doubt get thousands of fan things which probably just get shredded .... I only know of a handful of established bands that have direct contact on a one to one basis with their "management"

Interestingly there is talk of more fan to band activity in future ... one of the bands I have links with have been running similar things since 1992 and have direct access phone lines and emails contacts and dedicated fan releases and one 2 one recordings and acoustic specials .. its a band that still pull in crowds of about 1000 a gig and opened several times for U2 in the UK and States in the 80's including Cardiff Arms park in 87 and were due to open at Red Rocks before it got rained off and I have some very interesting info on that recording from them which actually tells the real truth of the "audience" or lack of it on the live album!!!

But anyway the U2 management address

I would love to hear more about it...

I will pass it along to my friend who will be happy that the letter might actually get read, mean something to someone, it will get noticed, and maybe some kind of action will be taken on it. So, thank you!
