Oh, that is the U2 bible. The gospel according to U2! I love that book. I've read it at least 3 times. Whenever I feel lonely for the guys, I read it. Enjoy ever last drop.

A fantastic book. enjoyed it thoroughly. my mom just told me last night she bought a u2 book for 50 cents in a book store (she's out in the boonies). she didnt tell me what its called, but something about unforgettable fire, so i guess it was written right after that album... i can hardly wait to pick it up. (any ideas which one it might be?)

That sounds really familiar. I think I might have bought it, but never read it because I bought U2 at the end of the world at the same time and forgot about the first one.

Man, I spent $14 on that sucker XD I wish I could've found it somewhere for $6, but it was worth it anyway. It's a very wild ride. I remember when I first got it, I went around telling people "I bought a new bible! And it's ORANGE!" and then people were shocked when I held up a book about U2 XD
U2 By U2 would probably be considered the new U2 Bible, but U2 at the End of the World is great for what it is, it goes in-depth into individual events, with a great fly-on-the-wall perspective.

I like your "yay" icon better than mine XD

*pats* Before I bought mine, I kept hearing people referring to it as the Orange Bible, and I had no idea, because the only pictures of it online I could find only showed the front. I didn't know it was the spine that was orange until mine arrived in the mail from Amazon.

I actually got mine at a used book store for like $10 I think I almost hyperventilated because I had been looking for it forever and was about to just order it off Amazon.com. My copy was in great condition when I got it but now...I have earmarked and highlighted my favorite quotes and I use them often when I have to speak for a class. I also own U2byU2 but I refuse to earmark that book. I think I'm gonna need to start keeping a journal of my favorite passages. :)
