Vertigo Tour Acoustic Set @ 03:30 pm

mcfrye:
I have a two part question for everyone today:

The Vertigo tour was without an acoustic mini-set, as we all know. However, had they added an acoustic set to the show, what songs would you have liked to have seen them perform, and where in the set should it have been?

My first choice for an acousitc song would be A Man and a Woman. I love listening to the "acoustic" version found on the All Because of You single and this one would have worked. My second choice would be...In God's Country. As for where it would work in the set, I think the choice is obvious: before Love and Peace.

When I posted my ideal setlist before the tour started, I wanted an acoustic set with Fast Cars and A Man And A Woman, plus Everlasting Love as an unexpected bonus. :D
Sadly I didn't get to see any of those....

The middle part of the 3rd leg basically turned into an acoustic encore...when they were playing The First Time and Wild Horses a lot. That seemed to me like an acoustic portion of the show. Granted that didn't last long and they added some acoustic songs in the second encore towards the end of the 3rd leg. Subsequent legs had more acoustic songs as well.

Wow, Fast Cars would have made for a cool acoustic song. A Man and a Woman would be awesome, but Adams bassline would HAVE to be a part of it. Maybe Larry on some bongos? A soft One Step Closer to Knowing maybe.
