So I'm watching Conan O'Brien last night...

...and the Kooks come on to play a song from their forthcoming album.

Now, it might have been that I was only half-awake at the time, but when I squinted, the lead singer and guitarist reminded me of Bono and The Edge -- but from two different U2 eras!

The singer has hair and gestures similar to (but not as wild as) Boy era Bono, while the guitarist's got this strange "Bob Dylan mates with The Joshua Tree era Edge" feel to him.

Like I said, it could just be me. Check out the video of the Kook's performance and let me know what you think:
