The Unforgettable Fire, hands down. One of their best videos ever - I wish they'd do more like this! (City Of Blinding Lights *totally* deserved something along these lines, instead of another uninspired performance video.) It's so gorgeously atmospheric and sinister. I was amazed the first time I saw this video, as it perfectly captured the sort of mental images I get from the song.

It's so hard to choose between Unforgettable Fire and ASOH - I adore Unforgettable Fire for all the reasons

canadanne mentioned - it's incredibly haunting - but honestly, I had never heard ASOH before I saw the video and fell in love with it based on the video alone. Perhaps it's simply nostalgia based on my own travelling memories, but the shots of the telephone poles, etc. are beautiful.

That was a hard one. I love TUF (Larry looks great) plus it's a beautiful song but ASOH has a special place in my heart as one of my fave U2 songs ever! I even like the 2 different versions. Can I vote twice??!!

Makes you wonder how they possibly thought this vid was a good idea in the first place... I mean, if this were my video (and I was part of U2? *coughs*) I would've buried all footage of it, let alone let music to be set to it XD Or maybe the boys thought they'd give us a few minutes of hilarity ;)

TOTALLY! But then, on the rare occasions I watch it, videos are few and far between, regardless of quality or LULZ-y-ness. (Part of why, when I do watch music videos, its of musicians I love/trust to make a good video.)

PRIDE, deffinetly! When I play my U218 DVD, I ALWAYS (ok, ok... most of the times) play this one first! It's great... I really LOVE the sepia colour in it, and it fits soooo well with the scenes (L)
