Ohh cool! Cheers for posting. Have been shouting after these records being remastered for years.

Boy/October look excellent. The Skinner session is by far the best radio session U2 have ever done.

- How disappointing is the War extras disc? I do like NYD, but do we really need 4 remixes?

- Why the fuck have they got Paul Morley todo the Boy liner notes? He did the OMD A&M remaster which he made a mess of. Likewise with the Simple Minds remasters. A twat of the highest order.

Still I look forward to these after the fantastic JT reissue.

interesting... nice to see some of the rarer remixes getting representation. also interesting to note that some of those rare tracks are songs i don't think you can get off of itunes anymore, as the complete u2 has been discontinued...

on the one hand, there really isn't enough for me to go out and purchase the special editions (20+ bucks for a few tracks is excessive), however the combination of remastering, and my completist nature means i'll be picking them up anyways.

at least they aren't releasing them all at once, so it'll be a bit easier on the wallet. my father benefits by getting my old one-cd editions as well.
