I'm currently feelin: disappointed disappointed

Almost about 2 months ago I made an order from U2.com shop. Well, I didn't receive it. I wrote them once. They didn't reply. I wrote them again. And they ignored my question again. It seems I don't have any other ways to get my order neither resolve this problem. I'm a long-time www.fanfire.com user and ordered from them already (that was from Bruce Springsteen official website). Maybe someone stole my parcel on the way, it often happens here, but it doesn't make me feel better about it. So my question is did someone outside of US and UK order some stuff from U2.com and how it was? I mean did anyone else have problems with delivery? I planned future purchases from U2.com, but now I'm not sure. It makes me sad that I live in a country where it's impossible to receive something to :(

I live in Australia and have never had any trouble buying from U2.com

It's been a couple years, but I ordered a few things off there and they took forever to arrive (I'm in the US). When I tried to log in to see what the status of my order was, the website said something like there was no order. I eventually managed to call their 800 number and get it sorted out, but I got my stuff about a month later than I expected it and they sent it to my mom's address instead of mine, because I had used her credit card. I wasn't really pleased. =|

aww... that's not good =\ in my order status was a ship date and a name of the shipper, but then this line just disappeared like my order wasn't shipped at all.
when i first registered i used my nickname instead of my real name and later i figured out i can't change it anywhere. so i had to use a fake name for my billing address. my billing and shipping address are the same though, but i still got worried about it and maybe it was a reason that something went wrong.
i don't regret about my money, i regret about the stuff i didn't get :(

that's because they send the memembership cards and the codes to the wrong addresses. I'm a paid member and I remember very well that once twice i received 2 copies of their fanzines + 2 pre-order forms at once. One copy was for me and the second one was clearly addressed to somebody else (as I registered just once) but the address written on the mail was all mixed up. It looked like mine but it wasn't (different first name, street name, strange zip code) - but I received it anyway.
Besides that I agree with you, you have to be very very very patient if you order something on U2.com.

i don't mind waiting (i live in a country with the worst post ever where a month is a very short period for delivery), but i would like to get what i wanted somehow. not to get it at all is very disappointing and it makes aware of future purchases from there. though i planned. and btw i read about vertigo tour tickets mess what does not please as well =\

I ordered something in November and still haven't heard anything, despite numerous attempts to contact them for an update. Never got a coupon for the current year either. Bleh. I never used to have any problems ordering from U2.com, but it seems my luck has run out!

I live in Russia and about 3 years ago I ordered some stuff. And it actually came and it took about one month.

оу, ты в москве живешь? просто у меня закралось сомнение, что спионерили просто мой заказ где-нибудь на таможне. я уже не один раз получала посылки с других сайтов полностью раскуроченные, рваные, поломанные и с явными признаками, что их тщательно осматривали :(

Я три года назад заказывала у них маечку, она пришла в пожульканном пластиковом конверте, но пришла! и очень быстро!
даже не знаю, что сказать...Попробуй их еще подоставать, ты же всё таки деньги заплатила.

эх, сразу видно, что русский пишет, судя по отзывам о нашей прекрасной почте. да, все посылки досматривают на таможне. спионерили врядли, могли потерять так же как багаж теряют. если заказ отправляли через air mail, то у него есть почтовый код, с помощью которого можно отслеживать его по всему миру. теоретически, даже сейчас ты можешь сделать это. а с ником это зря. если заказ оформляли через пейпол, то он мог даже и не пройти. нужно всегда указывать имя, которое на банковской карте. у них с этим очень строго. стоит попробовать написать еще и туда. желаю удачи :)
