Question on Clothing Sizes @ 10:45 am

If this isn't okay for posting, let me know and I'll take it down.

Has anyone here bought T-shirts from U2.com? Any advice on sizing, maybe? I've looked all over the site and for the life of me, I can't figure out how the sizes run.

Also, more specifically, how do the youth sizes compare to the adult ones? The sale on some of the youth shirts is just too much to pass up.

Thank you in advance!

I haven't actually *bought* any, but I've gotten a couple (of the same one... grr) when I've renewed my membership. The women's sizes seem to run a bit on the small size and the shirt I've got is actually an American Apparel brand shirt, if you're familiar with them (there's a size chart linked on this page: http://store.americanapparel.net/2102.html). I imagine their other shirts are from American Apparel too, but don't quote me on that for sure. I normally buy smalls or mediums - my Slane shirt is a medium and is perfect.

I don't have any experience with the youth sizes. :(

I wear a US 4/6 in shirts, depending on the fit...

I bought a women's fitted shirt from there last year and got a medium just to be safe - it fits nicely, but it's not too fitted, and inside it says M/OS and the shirt is American Apparel 'ClassicGirl'.

If they're still using American apparel: http://www.americanapparel.net/sizing/default.asp?chart=womens.shirts

Large kids is usually for age 13/14's - I'm not sure what it is with their store, but they've also fit me nicely in the past. I'd say a large kids wouldn't be much different than a small womens but I'm not totally 100% so don't fully trust my judgement on that...

The problem I've had with buying kids shirts anywhere is that they're usually too short. Maybe our torsos grow sometime between ten and our twenties, I don't know - but I love kids shirts and half the time I buy them anyway, then wear tank tops under them.

well... i bought t-shirts from u2.com. i usually wear M size. i'm a girl. but one time i bought a t-shirt which was supposed to be for a man. but i really liked the picture on it. i bought M size and it was HUGE. seriously. that t-shirt could fit two of me. but when i bought a subscription and chose a M-sized t-shirt for a girl it fit me perfectly.

I can't help with the youth sizes, but the girl sizes run small.

The women's shirts are *tiny*, I always buy large and I still barely fit into them. (I'm not skinny but I'm not huge either!)

I bought a small men's shirt recently and it was about the same size as the large women's.

No idea about the youth ones, but I'd imagine they're for stick insects.
