Opinions, please. @ 09:06 pm

cebulka26:
What do people think of Paul McGuinness's stance on Safe Harbor laws and his pro-DRM and anti-filesharing attitude?

Does anyone know if U2 personally feels this way, or if they are following Paul's lead?

I'm curious to gauge what others think.

From what I've read, they respect Paul's right to speak out on issues as he sees fit, but they aren't themselves so... zealous. Bono wrote a piece about it for either... the NME or Rolling Stone? One of those, I think.

McGuinness is a dinosaur who needs to retire to his solid gold house and stop costing the band money with his ridiculous refusal to come to terms with reality.

Yeah, not hugely impressed.
