Wembley 1+2 writeup and photos @ 08:44 pm

canadanne:
I've finally got my photos from Wembley online, if anyone is interested! There are 7 pages of them here.

My epic writeup of the two shows can be found here! (In summary: Friday was great, Saturday was amazing.)

Thanks for sharing your photos, great stuff! I've also read your write up of both nights (I also went to both nights). I thought it was only MAnics fans that had queue Nazis (friends of mine were nicknamed this after they handed out numbers to those fans queuing, a few years ago).

Thank you! The fan numbering does seem to be a new thing for U2 shows here... I don't know if it was just the London shows, or if it happened in Glasgow / Sheffield / Cardiff as well?

I've often thought that the numbering thing is a good idea, but I can see why people don't like the idea. Each to their own and all that. I personally think it helps, especially if you leave the queue for whatever reason and return to your place and people behind moan, thinking you're pushing in. At least with a number you can prove otherwise.

Yeah, agreed. I heard it happens a lot in the US and I didn't like the sound of it (especially if it's the same Line Nazi turning up at every show, throwing their weight around!), but I had no problems with the way the line was run at Wembley. It was organised but relaxed and friendly, which is just what you want!

Exactly! I was at turnstile F and noticed not only how relaxed the queue was, but also how nice the security people were.
