Questions, questions @ 12:44 pm

endlessdeep:
I'm going to the Houston concert tonight and I have a couple of questions.

I've never done this before, but I printed my tickets out and now I'm kind of worried about having a problem getting into the concert with them. They have barcodes and I have my receipt. Does anyone have experience with printing out their own tickets? Will I have any problems with them?

Also, I want to take my big Nikon digital camera, but I think they may not let me take it in to the concert. Would it be better just to take a smaller size digital camera?

Thanks.

IF you purchased the tickets from Ticketmaster, you'll have no problem getting in with print outs.

If your big Nikon is an SLR, they're not allowed. You might be able to sneak it in, but the official line is no detachable lenses/lenses over three inches long.

And actually, at Giants they were trying to enforce 'no cameras'. Of course you can see how well that went by the number of photos I took on the night.

They actually tried to tell me 'no cameras' in Chicago when I was running in. I just stated the rule to the lady and kept going, because. Well. Y'know.

My personal feeling on cameras is that if you can't fit it into your knickers then you might want to reconsider taking it. It's a huge bummer to be sent back to put something in your car after you've lined up all day.
