I love it when an interviewer gets them to be all relaxed and spontaneous like this, it's so much more entertaining than just asking the same old questions for Bono to answer predictably. :) Loved The Edge's little musical joke!

what a crazy gig and what a great crowd, on the top of a skyscraper. what city is it? we don't get this show in the uk. I've not seen the interview just yet but will when i get the vhance in a bit.

That is the Rockefeller Centre in New York.

Whew, thought I was going to have to cry today for forgetting to tape the show.

Usually when I see a musical guest on a talk show, I feel like I'm as well off seeing it at home as I would be in the theatre. Every time U2 does a talk show, I feel like I've missed something great when they go to the commercial breaks. Gah! Some day I'mma have to be in one of those audiences.

Do we know if there's an mp3 floating around of the acoustic performance? I LOVED it and want to own it forever! I tried searching the internets and came up empty.
