I'm assuming they probably did. Just because they started out in the late seventies.

Are you asking if they released their albums on vinyl? Yes. And they still do.

Yep yep...you can get vinyls of almost anything! As I like to collect U2 stuff...I keep my eyes out for stuff like that. There's a local 2nd-hand music shop which has vinyls of Unforgetable Fire, Joshua Tree, Pop and even all the singles from Achtung Baby (The Fly, Mysterious Ways, ect...). I'm just waiting for some money to appear so I can buy them! :P

Every U2 single right upto 97 was released on vinyl.

I have the very first single U2-3 on 7" :P My prized U2 vinyl.

Vinyl is making a comeback now, most big albums still get released on 12"
I've got the 12" Best of 90-00.

Vinyl is soo much better than CD, Quality shits over the CD everytime.

*ENVY*

I can't touch that, although I do have a 45 of "A Celebration"; a friend got it for me as a Christmas present several years ago. He said he paid only $1 for it at a flea market. Makes me want to start hitting more flea market record booths... ;)

Know I'm a bit slow with this, but I've been able to find the vinyls of their albums quite easily. Every record they've made was released as vinyl originally (obviously, since they started in the seventies) and Ebay usually has them for two or three dollars if you bid right.
In fact, they still record on analog equipment.
