I'm currently feelin: indescribable
I'm currently hearin: angel of harlem - U2

Thought I would just come in and say hello
I've been listening to U2 for 3 hours non stop, and now i've put myself in such an awful state of wanting, I don't think I will be able to crawl out of it :(

Does anyone have any thoughts if U2 will ever ever come touring back to Australia? Or am I just going to be sitting in my office listening to Bono, and cry forever?
*laughs*

they'll be back here. The dollar is looking good, they're going to go back to large stadium gigs, they missed the last tour so thus know next tour will probably sell out faster than anyone could expect....they'll be back.

Although after seeing them in smaller venues last tour, I don't know if I want to go back and see them at the Sydney Football Stadium or similar. It loses its intimacy and all the rest of it. But I'll be there.

And if they don't come back here, then heck....I guess I'll just have to get on a plane again..

well i'll be joining you with that.

Sometimes large stadiums are just bad, especially if you are at the back, and the vibe just isn't as good as it is down the front.
Plus, if you're so far back that you watch most of the concert on the big screen, is their a point to being there in the first place?
But then, this is U2...

When U2 come back i am planning on seeing there everywhere, which basically will mean Sydney and Melbourne... haha

That's exactly the experience I had on the Elevation Tour. It sucked. The arena had no intimacy as far as I was concerned - and I didn't even have a BIG screen to look at!  I'm looking forward to a stadium tour just so I can experience the hugeness of it (and I will do whatever it takes to be nearer the front).

don't i know it! *sighs*
I've never had the pleasure of a U2 concert, so this time, it's going to be good, and loud and down the front. We'll go together and just sprint to the front (which I did for robbie worked out pretty well) but i ended up so squahsed i could hardly breath, but... all part of the fun right? hahaha
