I remember the postcard had been up for auction some time ago and I'd been meaning to save a picture of it but, alas... I only remembered now, months later, and Google is surprisingly of little help (!) to this cause.
So, would any of you, by any chance, just so happen to still have a picture of this peculiar postcard?
ALSO: While the official Sparrow Records site for the upcoming U2 tribute / African benefit album, In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa makes no mention of which artists are performing which songs, a quick blurb in yesterday's USA Today's Coming Attractions sidebar reveals:
- Toby Mac - "Mysterious Ways"
- Nichole Nordeman - "Grace"
- Delirious? - "Pride (In the Name of Love)"
- Sixpence None the Richer - "Love Is Blindness"
- Audio Adrenaline - "Gloria"
- Jars of Clay - "All I Want Is You"
- Pillar - "Sunday Bloody Sunday"
- Grits - "With or Without You"
- Tait - "One"
I'm still not certain who'll be covering "Beautiful Day," Streets or "When Love Comes to Town"... also, although Tait's version of "One" is mentioned in the article, it hasn't been included in the track listing on the album's official site. Oddness.
The album, by the way, comes out in January.
