BIG PEOPLE in BIG CARS eating BIG MACS @ 05:55 pm

Would any of you happen to have a picture of the postcard Bono sent in the mid-80s which went a-li'l somethin' like: "America is full of big people in big cars eating big Macs" ??

I remember the postcard had been up for auction some time ago and I'd been meaning to save a picture of it but, alas... I only remembered now, months later, and Google is surprisingly of little help (!) to this cause.

So, would any of you, by any chance, just so happen to still have a picture of this peculiar postcard?

ALSO: While the official Sparrow Records site for the upcoming U2 tribute / African benefit album, In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa makes no mention of which artists are performing which songs, a quick blurb in yesterday's USA Today's Coming Attractions sidebar reveals:
  • Toby Mac - "Mysterious Ways"
  • Nichole Nordeman - "Grace"
  • Delirious? - "Pride (In the Name of Love)"
  • Sixpence None the Richer - "Love Is Blindness"
  • Audio Adrenaline - "Gloria"
  • Jars of Clay - "All I Want Is You"
  • Pillar - "Sunday Bloody Sunday"
  • Grits - "With or Without You"
  • Tait - "One"

I'm still not certain who'll be covering "Beautiful Day," Streets or "When Love Comes to Town"... also, although Tait's version of "One" is mentioned in the article, it hasn't been included in the track listing on the album's official site. Oddness.
The album, by the way, comes out in January.

Awesome. Hope it gets released down here in Aus! Delirious doing Pride will ROCK! Sweeeet.

Hmmm...I wonder who's doing "Beautiful Day" and "When Love Comes To Town" on that album.

I bet Paul Colman (of Paul Colman Trio - www.paulcolmantrio.com) is majorly bummed at missing out on having a track on that album! heh. But he's with Essential...not Sparrow. Although Jars of Clay are with Essential. So hmmm. Oh wells.

Some of these covers I am looking forward too- such as Jars, Sixpence, Delirious, Nicole Nordeman.....but the others, they make crappy music and I think are only associating w/ U2 to make themselves look cool, and I hate that.

But, if the album will raise awareness and money for Africa, I'm all for it....

I could be wrong, but are all of those bands in the Christian Music Industry?

I know that Toby Mac, Jars of Clay, Delirious?, and Audio Adrenaline are Christian artists? Does it have something to do with the nature of the tribute?

Not "dissing" any religion, I think that I just missed something, and I'd love to have this puzzle put together in my head.
