Yesterday...my local rock radio station, TripleM, played as mini-live-concert of U2 (something they do with various bands from time to time...take about 4 live tracks...and play a "mini-concert" on-air).

I turned it on towards the end of "Where The Streets Have No Name"...then they played "Elevation" (in the middle of the concert...not the opening song with the intro like on the DVDs) and "With or Without You". They are seem to be from the same set...cause Bono's voice and the crowd level was very consistant (unless they edited it together very well).

I had never heard these live versions before...and was wondering where they might come from. The only clue I can give you is that at the end of "Elevation" Bono sang two lines of "I...I...I'm not your stepping stone" (Monkees song). Also, "With Or Without You" included the (now common) "We'll shine like stars in the summer night..." ending.

With that little info...any ideas where these live recordings may have come from??
