Hello Hello!!

January 16th, 2004

Hello. @ 03:55 pm

screendoor3:
I'm currently feelin: chipper chipper

I'm new here. I'm from Minnesota and I've always liked U2. I like their earlier stuff better, but their later stuff is good as well. My favorite songs are "Twilight," "Rejoice," "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Refugee," "New Years Day," "40," "Party Girl," "The Unforgettable Fire," "MLK," "Van Dieman's Land," "Desire," "Bullet The Blue Sky," and more I won't list because I'm lazy, but from that selection you can get an idea of what I like. I'm glad to be here and look forward to lots of fun. . .

Welcome! I also like their earlier stuff best, particularly anything live. I collect live copies of 11 O'clock Tick Tock, and anything pre-ZooTV tour I can get my hands on, I love.

"Under A Blood Red Sky" is my favorite album, even though it's not one. I understand where you're coming from.

Oh wow, awesome, and I thought I was the only one who had UABRS as their favourite! I adore it, and the video ... it's just incredible. I still don't understand why they used that weak performance of 11OTT on the CD when the best ever performance of it appears on the video.

Oh yes, you definitely have to buy it. (All in my opinion) It has the best renditions of Gloria and 11 O'clock Tick Tock ever, and the performances of every other song are right up there with the best of them. I watch it frequently ... it's such a shame the entire concert isn't on there (though I am trying to get my hands on the full VCD).

I'll put it on my "to buy" list. My palms are starting to sweat. I'm so excited.

your taste in songs is pretty different to mine, but welcome none-the less!

unforgettable fire is the best of your selection, that song rrocks my wurldd

didnt like bulllet the blue sky at first, but it grew on me, after watching a film called John Q which had this tune in the background throughout and it kept making me think it was going to break out into "outside its america, outsiiiide its america" and for some reason that just triggered me listing to bullet the blue sky more, love it now

I like John Q. Denzel is the best. I don't remember the song in it, but I did see the movie four years ago so. . .thanks for the warm welcome.
