Out of all your collection of U2 items (offical or not) what would you say is/are the most uncommon item(s) that you own?

I think mine is the Offical U2 stamp set that came out about a year or so ago. I havnt come across too many other people who bought them.

my "U2 bible". I bought a big trapper keeper and a ton of those plastic page protectors, and printed out a ton of articles, interviews, fan art, fan fiction, 'you know you're obsessed' lists, song lyrics and other stuff and filled this trapper to the point where it doesn't shut. And then I carried it around with me everywhere for a year. My favorite things in it are a series of pictures my friend Zach drew for me of Edge dressed up as different things (like celery and a bunny), and a "U2 Paper Hat" my friend Kyla made for me out of a book cover in our science class.
It makes me happy.

i have a NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC 1982 cd compilation that EMI released in 1999. it contains the hard to find single a-side of A Celebration. i've yet to see that song on any other cd anywhere. i love that song!
also, i have another compilation called HERE COMES THE YOUNG MAN. it's a compilation of songs produced by the late martin hennett (now order, joy division, durutti column), that features the 1980 studio version of 11 o' clock tick tock.

Hee! I have U2 pants too. They're Edge's Zoo TV bedazzled pants, although not nearly as elaborate. I want to make his Elevation ones, they seem like pants one could actually wear in real life (not just on Halloween!).

I have this: http://www.terravista.pt/ancora/1078/macphis.jpg poster, which I've only ever seen in the funky poster shop in Chicago where I bought it and in the hall of fame exhibit.

Hmm...

Probably my gigantic inflatable PopMart lemon... I know there's been a few around, but I don't personally know anyone else that has one.

Either that or my shiny gold MacPhisto pants :) I've got the horns, now I just need the frilly red shirt and the jacket and gold platforms, and I can join the ranks of all the other female fans who want to be Mrs. MacPhisto :)

I guess it would be the inflatable PopMart lemon (though I see that at least two others on here have it too :)) or the Island Records 45 of "A Celebration" that a good friend got me for Christmas one year. I have other singles on 45 that aren't exactly easy to find, but I don't know if I'd call them rare. I also have a sleeve of four picture disc 45s featuring band interviews that I've never seen anywhere else, but I don't know if it's rare. Each disc has its own pocket; I have it hanging on my wall in front of my computer desk.

Few people seem to have the full audio of 1 December 1993, ZooTV Christchurch ...

I also have that 1978 demo being sold on E-bay for $35,000. Yes, I just bought it. In a dream.

Wow, that second paragraph was so LAME.

You have the Christchurch gig? The one where MacPhisto phones John Banks? I don't suppose you have any way of grabbing that phone call in MP3 format...?!

Hmmm... first time posting, but this is an interesting topic...

Well, when I got word of the Melon CD is my local paper way back when, I immediately subscribed to Propaganda to get it. And I've cherished it ever since.

Also, a few years back in a record store in Germany, I found this weird U2 interview record that is electric lemon-lime colored and in the shape of a star. And the interview really isn't anything special--can't remember what's on it--it's been years since I listened to it. Plus, the edges of the stars were broken, though I had the pieces... yet more broke on the flight back, and I lost some. The whole thing is weird.

And the last thing I have that I haven't seen much is a b&w poster I got on ebay of Larry in front of some snow-covered pine trees, and written in silver below it "Ice, your only rivers run cold." Ah... favorite bandmember, one of my favorite songs.
