I have a DVD-R of this, although it's not in surround sound.

It's a video of the live feed sent to the video screens on the side of the stage, so it's not the kind of "pro-shot" video like on the Elevation DVD's or on TV broadcasts where you see the audience occasionally. It's mostly closeups of the band, but it's very enjoyable to watch, and is a complete show, and thus a better representation of the Joshua Tree tour than Rattle & Hum was.

It's worth getting, if you're really into that era of U2 and have money to burn. Just don't expect the quality to be comparable to U2's legitimate video releases.

i think that sounds rather cool... i tend to prefer rough stuff, looks more home-made and whatnot. that and i think my u2-geekiness will take over my brain and make me purchase it!
