I'm currently hearin: Sunday Bloody Sunday (acoustic)

This acoustic version of Sunday Bloody Sunday that 103.1 is playing right now is one of the most haunting songs I've ever heard...I have goosebumps all over my body. It's so beautiful...

I agree. The Popmart version is also acoustic. It shows the true meaning of the song, which isn't an IRA battle cry that people think it is.

It really makes you truly listen to it and realize how relevant it still is today, in a sense. I kept thinking about what just happened in Russia, and how well it still fit:
And the battle's just begun
There's many lost, but tell me who has won?
The trenches dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters
Torn apart.

How long, how long must we sing this song?
How long, how long?

Yes, I agree, it's wonderful!

Pity it's about the millionth time I've heard it today... :(

I'm beginning to give up on hearing "Vertigo". But it is nice to hear Wayne Gretzky on that ad they keep on airing!

Oh, yeah I just turned it on about 30 minutes ago, but I've heard electrical storm and WGRYWH twice. But I'm currently downloading that version, because once is not enough haha

i've heard several acoustics, and one sounds distinctly like Thom Yorke. Did Radiohead do a version of SBS?

I don't know if Radiohead did a version of it.

But i do know, that I once downloaded that version, that says it is Radiohead singing Sunday Bloody Sunday, but wasnt them. It was Edge singing it, from the Popmart Sarajevo concert.

So, I have no idea. I just know there is a version out there of Edge singing it and people think its radiohead, which i really don't know why they think that.

Can someone please post a link to where I can DL U2s acoustic version of that song, or at least maybe send the file to me? I would love to hear it. I love haunting music. When something is haunting, that means it is touching your deepest emotions.

Peace,
