Hello Hello!!

The Tour..... @ 07:39 pm

unorthodox_muse:
Where is everyone going to go see the band?

I *wish* for back east again.. but that is kind of tough since I am far away from the east coast. Man, I *love* the east coast. Sigh.......

I figure this time I will go to Denver, Las Vegas, maybe Seattle and I'd like to see them in Cali. Maybe. Then again I might get that wild hair and fly to the east coast. I know Vegas for sure though! I cannot wait till we find out what the dates are!!! GUH!!!! I am surely not looking forward to ticket bastard hell -- but it will be worth it. *cackle*

Anyway, I just know I am going to see them as much as possible cuz it is like a carnival ride that you just want to stand in line for again and again and again and again and again! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

We should buy LJ t-shirts so we can all point at each other and laugh.

I'm about halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, so I'm hoping to at least see them there. If finances allow, I may also be seeing them in Toronto.

If you make it back to the east coast, I dunno how likely it is, but try and make the Atlanta show so I can hang with you.

Atlanta

Lemme just say DITTO on that one. I live in Atlanta and I've been wanting to plan logistics and stuff for people coming from out of town forever. For all intensive purposes I will be here when they come through unless they decided to show up post August 2005 in which case I have no clue where I'll be; I'm law school bound but destination unknown at the moment. If they come through before hand I am going to plan out maps, directions, etc. for everyone. Where to park, where to go, and my number in case anyone gets lost. Most likely they'll be at Phillips Arena again in which case I can direct people to hotels and stuff near the show that won't cost them much etc. Call me a U2 Ambassador :)

In fact I'm posting this to the full community so everyone can see! heheh

I am hoping they make a quick pit-stop in between Philly and Pittsburgh in State College, home of your Penn State Nittany Lions! The 110,000 seat Beaver Stadium would be a monster, but the 14,000 seat Jordan Center is intimate.

Either way, Pit or Philly are looking good. If I am home in New England during the tour, then Boston, Hartford, Providence, and maybe even New York are option.

This tour is going to cost a pretty dime.

Well, it depends where they play, but I'm planning on Milwaukee and Chicago, and Madison, if they make a stop, which is kind of unlikely. :/

If the boys don't make it to Western Australia (as was the case with the Zoo TV/Zoomerang tour) then I'll more than likely head to Adelaide or even Sydney or Melbourne.

Upstate, NY. Probably Toronto or any Ontario shows. Maybe a trip to Boston/NYC/Chicago, depending on funds/time off from work.

If I'm insanely lucky, they'll do Portland, Seattle/Tacoma and Vancouver (BC) again this tour. And if they do, I will be at all three shows. Even if it means digging myself deeper in debt to do so, or even if it means sitting in the worst seat in the house.

I live in Cincinnati, and last time I saw them in: Columbus, Lexington, Notre Dame, Baltimore and Atlanta. I hope to be seeing them at most of those place (well maybe not notre dame..) and NOT missing them at Indianapolis, Chicago and Cleveland, like last time. I will go to as many as physically possible. My cut off limit is if it takes more than a day to drive there-thats too far. So about any city within 12 hours of me is fair game. And probably NY too, cause I want to go there anyway.

Last time i saw them in Cleveland and Columbus.
So, im hoping to see them there again, and hopefully Atlanta cause my best friend lives in South Carolina and she's just as obssessed with U2 as I am, and she wants me to go with her to Atlanta...so if i have the money for it, Atlanta.
And maybe some other States close to Ohio...
i have a feeling ill be very low on money, so i have to see what I can do...

Ok, oh yes, of course...LA, San Diego, Vegas, NorCal, Chicago, Philly, HotLanta. Chicago is a good destination because there are tons of Boston, NY, and the South in general makes the trek. Denver has a lot of N. & S. Dakota, California and Arizona fans. The last time I saw U2 in Phx there were alot of old faces from Denver. Come to think of it, my sister lives in Denver so I'd go there too...

I'm in Australia, but I'm not taking any chances - I'm travelling to the US for the first leg. What's more, if I defer my first year of university, my mother has promised to support me in following U2 around the States a bit. I'm hoping to base myself with a friend in Nashville and then hit every show possible - Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, wherever is within reasonable driving distance or a cheap flight/bus trip.

I have a lot of lost time to make up for. Damn being born in 1987!

(And if they play Australia/NZ, I'll be at every single show with the possible exclusion of Perth.)

Chicago (where I'm from) or Las Vegas... my brother lives there and he's the only person I'd go to a concert with. None of my friends understand why I love U2, except one. And she'll be in Paris the whole time the tour is going on. But my brother is a diehard fan, so I'm willing to fly out there.

I am pretty biased, since i live in colorado, but... PLEASE PLAY SOME SHOWS BACK AT RED ROCKS!!! ok screaming done. ;)

It would be a no brainer that red rocks would sell out instantly, meaning, they'd almost have to do more than one show :)

the lj shirts sounds like a cool idea, btw.

I can't find a listing of cities for the tour. Where have you seen a listing? (I'm in NorCal, but I'd go up to Washington, down to Mexico, or out to Vegas, baybee.)

last tour i was in san diego, anaheim, san jose, vegas, LA, dublin and london. i'll do the same again plus new york and possibly a few in mainland europe. i'm thinking rotterdam and berlin.

i'd definitely recommend seeing them in n. cali. those san jose shows were the best. they love the bay area and there's always something that just goes off...

We should buy LJ t-shirts so we can all point at each other and laugh.
