so im new, thought i would take a moment away from all the hype surrounding the new record and share a something that happened to me back in 2000 or so, that involves U2.

I got a gig with my cousin DJing at a local high school radio station. we were broadcasting a show much like Opie and Anthony from a high school station, so we were bound to get kicked off, but the cool thing was, we had complete control over what we played. so i forced my cousin into playing a song from the newest U2 album that hadnt come out. Hell, the first single had BARELY been released. Alot of people were speculating if the guys had gone back to rockin and quit with the Lemon stuff (I dont mind it, but c'mon, its no Joshua Tree). well, we played "Beautiful Day" and the phones lit up. after our first song, the phone lines lit up. it was very very cool. So any love that I have for being in radio, i thank you U2

sorry for rambling. continue on with the hype of How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
