I'm very much torn for this poll. I voted for The Unforgettable Fire, but I could have just as easily voted for The Joshua Tree or How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. They're my top three in no particular order, but today, for a reason I don't really know myself, I swung in favour of The Unforgettable Fire.

Same here amigo, but I leaned toward Boy. What song did you pick? "The Unforgettable Fire"? Or did you just vote for the album?

What song? 11 O'clock Tick Tock. It's always my favourite song, even though I don't think it's U2's best (In order, I feel the four best are Streets, Bad, New Year's Day, and The Unforgettable Fire).

And I just realised UABRS is on the album list. There's another one for me to feel torn about. Lately, I haven't felt as infatuated with it as I have been in the past, mainly because I feel it's so inferior to a bootleg.

I was exactly the same. Today I picked Unfire, but some days it's Joshua Tree, some days Boy, some days Pop, and today it's HTDAAB. The reason I chose Unfire over HTDAAB today is because I'm still in the "honeymoon phase" with Hut Dab, whereas Unfire is a longtime love. *is lame and knows it*

Yeah, I think that's probably why I went for UF over Hut Dab. It's the one I first went for, and just as I was going for it, I thought "Oh, Hut Dab!" Oh, it is so hard to choose between them. I was about to say that nothing on Hut Dab has the flow of Promenade --> 4th Of July --> Bad, and then I remembered Crumbs --> One Step Closer --> OOTS.

I have to say that I don't have a favorite album. I love Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, All That You Can't Leave Behind, and HTDAAB and I really don't have a total choice between them.

Man its hard to decide. I put war, cause i love the way sunday bloody sunday sounds and the feel of seconds. But again all of the albums are just great. Joshua tree, all that you can't leave behind...

Depends on my mood. Either Achtung Baby or Pop.

For me The Joshua Tree is the most "complete" album ...

I came up on the back of the more raw / punky early albums and sometimes miss that rawness in the polish of the modern U2 ...

Looking at the poll it actually shows a lot of the people on here are people who came into U2 into the 90's when they had already "made" it .. I can remember the Live Aid performance of nearly 20 years ago .. thats the point they went from an ordinary rock bad to the status they are now ...

And With or Without You a special song as I purchased that in London after coming back from my first solo trip to Scotland all those years ago fond fond memories ..

Okay, I picked "Please" as my favorite song and then as soon as I typed that I thought, wait what about "Acrobat," "Love is Blindness," "All I Want is You," "Sometimes You Can't Make it on Your Own," "Gone" and like 10 other of my favorites.

Picking a favorite song is way too difficult.
