with all this talk about the GA seats and the show in general, i too will bring up a question (as in this is my first show i will b trying to get into. no wait, must think positive-this WILL BE my first show). here it is:

if someone decides not to go afta GA tickets and actually wants to get a seat, would the next best option when buyin tickets to get the price range closest to GA? (like the next price up). sorry if this is dumb, i just want to be prepared for next weekend

and thanks in advance

If you want to buy the best seats - You will have to be prepared to be pay the top price. The next price up after GA is nosebleed seats. The higher the price, the better the seat.

I believe the best priced seats are about $150.

GA tix are the cheapest and best tix available.

Not dumb!

It depends on the venue, but usually the more expensive tickets are the seats closer to the stage. :/ Most of the venues I've been to have had a diagram of the layout available on Ticketmaster, so once the option comes up asking if you want to buy tickets in [location], you can look at the diagram and see exactly where they are (behind the stage, balcony, whatever). Then you can say yes, you'd like to buy them, or try for better seats (which, with dialup, is not a great option. *curses dialup*). If you're buying through U2.com, I'm not sure if they have the arena layout, but Ticketmaster probably does (kind of like so).

Hope that helps - I get super anxious about buying tickets, so I'm trying to think postiively, too. :)
